Historic Beaverbrook House Summer 2020

Historic Beaverbrook House will be open July through September 2019 and this year we are offering guided tours, called the Beaverbrook Trail. This trail is a walk through Lord Beaverbrook’s historic neighbourhood in the former Town of Newcastle, highlighting various historic buildings, the church and cemetery where his father preached, and Queen Elizabeth Park. Visitors will receive a booklet outlining the historic walk with additional information for those who wish to take an Extended Walking Tour on their own. In addition, we offer tours of Historic Beaverbrook House, the childhood home of Lord Beaverbrook.

Hours of Operation are Monday to Saturday – 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday – 12 pm to 5 pm, July through September 2019. Tours of the house are available on a drop in basis, while the guided tours must be booked by calling 506-622-5572. Due to Covid-19 you are advised to apply hand sanitizer upon entering the house and masks are encouraged. There will also be a limit of 5 people per tour.
